STONE SOUR Bassist: 'KORN Has Some Of The Best Fans In The World'

October 5, 2006

STONE SOUR bassist Shawn Economaki has checked in with the following update:

"Sitting at home right now... Family Values was an un-fucking-believable tour. It went well beyond anyone in the band's wildest expectations. KORN has some of the best fans in the world and they all treated us very, very well. It was great meeting so many of you out on the road as well. Cool bands. Cool tour. Good times.

"Flying to [New York City] tomorrow for some MTV2 stuff, then off to Texas for a couple of radio shows in San Antonio and Houston... And then off to Mother Russia for the Ramp Awards in Moscow. Everyone is completely stoked. None of us have ever been there so it should be fun... After that, it's off to Europe to kick all of your asses again. FLYLEAF is coming along for the ride in Germany and BULLETS AND OCTANE will be joining us for the U.K. dates. For all our American friends, don't fret, you'll get yours come November on Music As A Weapon [with DISTURBED, NONPOINT and FLYLEAF].

"Finally, a big thanks to all the fans for making 'Through Glass' #1 for for FIVE FUCKING WEEKS! UNBELIEVABLE!!!"

STONE SOUR's latest album, "Come What(Ever) May", has sold 256,000 copies in the United States since its early August release, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
